Get the fit right

Free size does not mean one shapeless size for everyone: the cut is engineered to drape well whether you are petite or tall, and our two-piece styles include an inner dress in AU or UK sizing so the layer closest to you fits properly.
Two simple rules make the biggest difference. First, an abaya should skim the ankle without dragging on the floor, so consider your height and whether you plan to wear heels. If you will wear heels, or you fall between sizes, choose the next size up. Second, measure yourself once and keep the numbers handy: your bust, your shoulder width, your sleeve length and your ideal shoulder to ankle length. Length is the measurement people most often get wrong, and it is the hardest to fix after purchase, so measure from the top of your shoulder to the point on your ankle where you want the hem to fall, in the shoes you will actually wear.
